Veronica Vergara, Compassionate Dental Assistant

With her nurturing personality and commitment to improving smiles, Veronica is here to make your dental experience calm and enjoyable. Veronica holds a Certificate III in Dental Assisting from the Southbank Institute of Brisbane, graduating in 2010. Her extensive training equips her with the necessary skills to assist dentists and ensure optimal patient comfort.

Veronica believes in staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental care. She regularly attends first aid courses and actively seeks online training opportunities to enhance her knowledge. From improving patient care to understanding sterilisation protocols, Veronica is dedicated to providing top-notch service.

What Veronica finds most fulfilling is the opportunity to directly impact patients’ lives. She takes pride in creating a calm and positive environment, helping patients feel at ease during their dental visits. Smiles are contagious, and Veronica ensures that everyone deserves to have healthy teeth and a reason to smile more.

When Veronica isn’t brightening smiles, you can find her enjoying Zumba classes, spending quality time with her family, including her beloved dog Lucky, and creating delicious treats through her baking adventures. Exploring new places and cherishing moments with friends also add joy to her life.

Amy Ingram, Dental Assistant

With a passion for dentistry that started at a young age, Amy pursued a career in dental assisting during the COVID-19 pandemic when she lost her job in hospitality. She saw an opportunity to study a profession that could turn into a fulfilling long-term career.

Amy holds a Certificate III in Dental Assisting, as well as Certificate IV qualifications in Oral Health Promotion and Radiography. While she didn’t attend university, she has plans to further her studies in the future, exploring opportunities in Oral Health Therapy.

In addition to her initial certifications, Amy continues her professional development through TAFE courses, ensuring she stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental assisting. She finds the most fulfilling aspect of her profession in growing her knowledge of dentistry, working alongside skilled dentists, and being part of a supportive team. Amy takes pride in creating a comfortable and relaxed environment for her patients, engaging in friendly conversations to help them feel at ease during their appointments.

Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.

With a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from Rajiv Gandhi University in India and a Bachelor of Oral Health (Therapy/Hygiene) degree from Charles Sturt University in Australia, Liya combines her knowledge and skills to deliver comprehensive oral health care. She believes in empowering her patients with the tools and education necessary to maintain optimal dental hygiene.
